Continuing Professional Development Workshop: Heraldry

The session is intended for scholars working on the medieval and early modern periods, who encounter heraldry and heraldic emblems and seek to develop their understanding of the practice, and how use it for research into the past. 

Arabic Poetry Translation Workshops
Various dates in May and June | Birkbeck, University of London and SOAS, University of London

Participants will attend all four workshops at which the visiting speaker and translator will address a text or group of texts; a general discussion about them will follow, leading to a choice of subject to develop work on over the summer and a reunion in the autumn to review the fruits of the workshop.

Funding for Student-led training

The CHASE Training and Development Group is happy to consider proposals for a range of activities from single day events to multiple day, multi-site programmes. Budget can be made available to cover costs for external speakers, catering, external venue hire (where appropriate).
