Job Description: Communications Assistant

In November, Goldsmiths and the Birkbeck Institute for the Moving Image with support from CHASE are organising a series of events with the renowned Serbian filmmaker Želimir Žilnik.

In order to help promote and market the training programme and film screenings we have an internship for a CHASE student to work as a Communications Assistant, based at the Birkbeck Institute for the Moving Image, 43 Gordon Square, WC1H 0PD. The successful candidate would develop a social media campaign for the programme. This would involve using platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and liaising with the various partner cultural organisations to connect with and develop audiences.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of commonly used social media platforms and will demonstrate an interest in the topic of the programme.

CHASE students are encouraged to apply by submitting a CV and a covering letter for the position.

The successful candidate will then work with Matthew Barrington (BIMI Manager) to determine a schedule for completing the necessary tasks.

Wage £440 (£11 per hour for 40 hours of work)
